With some walls dating back to the fourteenth century. This historical hotel stands in an unsurpassed position at the very heart of Sidmouth's elegant sea front and is literally only yards from the waters edge. Ideally situated for exploring the delightful surrounding countryside and attractions by car or foot, the Marlborough's central location also means it is immediately adjacent to all the amenities in the picturesque Regency town of Sidmouth itself, where Queen Victoria stayed as a child.
Rooms All bedrooms are en-suite or with a bathroom, centrally heated and equipped with colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. After a recent major refurbishment all rooms boast newly installed fitted furniture to further increase our guests' comfort and enjoyment. Several spacious family rooms are also available.
Bars The Marlborough also as the advantage of being fully licensed. The bar stays open all day and guests can enjoy a drink either indoors or on our patio in the sunshine. We also have Darts and a pool table
Restaurant Our charming restaurant serves good home-cooked English food with varied menus and is also fully licensed. All our guests enjoy a full, hearty English breakfast whilst our ever popular evening meal is optional. Sandwiches snacks and cooked meals are also available throughout the day. Try one of our famous Devonshire cream teas (Clotted Cream, Scones, Strawberry Jam and tea) a meal in its self.
